The journey to wellness begins with a single step. When we meet struggle in our life, we are taught to assume that it is a bad thing, but what if I told you that the struggles you are dealing with could actually be a blessing in disguise? Struggle can be the wake up call that shows you that something isn’t right and a course correction is needed. It simply doesn’t make sense to continue to plow through struggle after struggle without asking yourself, Is there something that I can do to change this situation.
This is where we can make some powerful life changing decisions. We all want our life to be better, but the most common misconception is that lasting change can be achieved overnight. Most often, the biggest changes in our lives come from making multiple small changes and decisions over the course of time. Weight loss is one of the biggest struggles for many people. I too have felt the frustration of stubborn weight just not coming off no matter how hard I tried. The principles of the universe are a funny thing. The stress from “trying” so hard could be the very thing that is sabotaging your efforts. Approaching everything with a more relaxed attitude and realistic expectations can do wonders to help you achieve your goals.
All good things come with dedication and day to day perseverance. After you achieve many small successes, then the magic really happens when you gain momentum!
My number one goal as a Master Certified Health and Wellness coach is long lasting change. Sometimes new habits and the learning curve of understanding your body take time to develop.
