Research is clear that those that have a deep connection to their faith have a better outlook on life and experience more peace. Many people around the world have cultural religions and practices. It is important that we participate in the faith that we connect with most. The only caviet that I would say is to examine your faith and look closely as to what it means to you. Is it merely a set of actions that you recite to find favor with a God, or do you have a deep emotional connection to your Creator. Everyone’s spiritual practices are deeply held beliefs that I cannot say what is right for everybody. However, I like to discuss some of the core tennants of Taoism, since it isn’t a religion by itself and can coexist with all other religions. The principles of Taoism can in fact deepen your spiritual experience.
