This aspect of health is almost intertwined with mental health, but this has more of an emphasis on what we would consider from the heart, dealing with feelings and emotions. It is from here that we foster positive relationships with others and can develop positive self esteem. A healthy emotional state allows us to cope with difficult circumstances and though not easy, work through them in a manner that will produce a more confident and uplifted self. Instead of running and shutting down from difficult circumstances, a good balance allows for us to deal with things head on and face what we would refer to as our fears. This type of resilience is necessary to maintain our closest relationships and maintain harmonious interactions with the world around us.
